It’s your podcast and when it is time for a rant, alright. Lucky you live in a country where you are free to do that. The sometimes a bit annoying part of freedom is - it works both ways. There will be better days to come. It will get easier.

You seem to have stumbled in some of ”those days”, huh? May I suggest revolving doors so they don’t end up in anyone Faces. Excuse me I had to say it ✌️I guess making fun of troubling things and a bit of gallows humor is my way to keep me calm enough when walking away is not an option. You said that the other person said that she had bitten her tongue for a while but it has to be brought up now. Well, that’s the thing with war relics. Buried in the ground for ages, taking natural damage makes the explosives unstable, unpredictable, forgotten and they might blow up completely out of the blue. Harming whoever is around at this moment in time. Very rarely the soldiers they have been prepared for. Same goes very often for things that remain unspoken for too long. You might just made a wrong step at the wrong time. And recovery - if even possible - might take time in both cases. To be kind is a fine thing but that doesn’ t mean to take everything from everyone.
